  Notes	His ancestry is throughly is thoroughly Québécois, French-Canadian. He was a carpenter, as his father was; he was living at 153 Clinton Ave. in Buffalo in 1890, according to the city directory. In the 1910 Census, he and his wife were living with their daughter and her husband. It says “Canada (Fr)” for place of his parent’s birth, referring to the place, and the language they spoke. The 1920 Census, however, says that his father was born in France and his mother in Canada.
